On Wednesday the 29th of September we set the day to meet in order to open the academic year for the new PTR students and to have a space for the PTR alumni. The weather was not that nice that day.Nonetheless, we have managed to be there. As we always like to start each academic year, we have shared food and we have spent or ‘wasted’ some time together. A delicious Syrian food helped us to have energy to stay together in a very special place in Haarlem named Sneel. Because of this location – the youth house of the Mennonite Church in Haarlem, we followed the tradition of the house: a moment of silence before eating, eating, cleaning together, and having a program. This time, the program was about expressing our questions and sharing our expectations for the coming year. It was a time for bonding, deep connections, and laughs.
Part of the PTR alumni goals is to connect with each other with the new and the old participants of the program. Therefore, we expect you all to come to the next meeting because the doors are always open.
