I am Peter Wansink. I selected the Master-track Peace, Trauma and Religion to know more about the role of religious traditions on war and peace. I hope that the study and my work for the ACRPJ will be beneficial for (academic) writing and voluntary work in the field of war and peace (e.g. Amnesty International).
I had a long professional career at the central government. Maybe academic research is a new step?Buddhist traditions have great value for me. I find the differences in Eastern and Western perspectives (the “self” e.g.) very interesting. Protestantism in my youth was not so prominent, but last period my curiosity in Christianity increased.
For my internship in the ICC, the course “professional skills” and the excursion to Sarajevo in July will be important topics.
