Hello! I’m Liliana and in December I’ve had the pleasure of joining the ACRPJ team as a maternity leave cover for Eline.

As a PTR student who started the programme in the fall of 2024 and then liked it so much that I extended the duration of the programme for an extra year, I felt grateful to be contributing to the work of the centre from behind the scenes this time, not as a mere recipient anymore. Throughout 2025 I had been interning at a human rights organisation, working closely with human rights defenders. There, I discovered how much I enjoy planning events, taking care of communications, bringing different people together to have meaningful conversations, and this is exactly the type of work I’ve been involved with since joining the centre!

Other than working here, you can find me campaigning with a youth environmental organisation, writing my thesis, reading a good book, drinking lots of herbal tea and taking many walks despite the cold 🙂
